Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference

To further deepen dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises in the areas of environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies, standards, and practical implementation, the Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference was initiated by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Frankfurt am Main, in collaboration with multiple Chinese and international institutions. The Conference is committed to providing a high-level platform for policymakers, business leaders, and professional organizations, with a particular focus on tangible cooperation opportunities in technological innovation, green transition, industrial development, and sustainable growth.

In September 2024, the inaugural Conference was successfully held in Frankfurt, Germany, under the theme “Joining Forces to Shape the Future.” In June 2025, the second edition took place in Stuttgart, Germany, under the theme “Together, we are strong — for a more Innovative, Healthy, Intelligent, and Sustainable Future.”

Following two consecutive editions, the Conference has rapidly grown into a large-scale and highly influential Sino-European bilateral economic and trade event in Europe. It has collected hundreds of ESG best practice cases across more than ten industries, attracting participation from over 200 leading Chinese and European multinational corporations—including Sinopec, CATL, Midea, Airbus, Siemens, and Bayer—as well as numerous “hidden champions” and innovative start-ups. More than a thousand representatives from government, business, and academia have gathered to exchange insights and explore cooperation.

The 2026 Sino-European Corporate ESG Best Practice Conference is scheduled to take place from 25 to 26 June 2026 in Mainz, Germany, under the theme: “From Vision to Practice: Co-Shaping Green Value Chain through ESG Partnership.”
